Chibby Alloway Accepts Role as Chair of BCR’s Science Advisory Board
JACKSONVILLE, Florida – January 16, 2013 – BCR Environmental announced today that Chibby A. Alloway has agreed to take on a new role as Chair of the company’s Science Advisory Board (SAB). Alloway will be transitioning from his previous position as CTO effective February 1, 2013.
BCR is a U.S. based clean technology and infrastructure solutions company focused on the wastewater and organic waste treatment industries. In 2009, BCR formed the SAB to provide industry research and guide development operations with a focus on scientific, regulatory, and technical aspects.
With over 30 years of experience in the water, wastewater, and organic waste treatment industries, Alloway will advise BCR’s executive team on emerging technology and regulatory issues within the industry. He will coordinate the efforts of the SAB to provide guidance on the company’s strategic positioning in the industry as well as lead efforts to identify and develop new technologies.

Alloway’s expertise includes developing biosolids, food waste, and yard waste management solutions. Prior to joining BCR, Alloway was Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Synagro Technologies, where he was responsible for enhancing the value of technical services to both municipal and industrial clients. As Executive Vice President and CTO at Veolia Water North America, Alloway developed and directed a technical services group comprised of engineers and academic specialists in all areas of water, wastewater, and biosolids management.
