BCR Environmental Corporation Receives Mayor’s Environmental Award
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 13, 2015—BCR Environmental, the leading provider of biosolids and organic wastes management solutions, today announced that it was honored at the 23rd Annual Mayor’s Environmental Awards luncheon held yesterday at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. Hosted by Jacksonville’s Mayor Alvin Brown, the event honored companies, groups, and individuals who have made significant contributions to preserve and make a positive impact to all of Florida’s environment. This year’s theme, “Advancing Environmental Stewardship,” showcased exhibits and information about local environmental organizations and programs that have taken a positive role in preserving the environment.
After receiving the award from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection on behalf of BCR, President and CEO Aaron Zahn said, “This award was high praise and welcomed recognition that our sustainability efforts are making a difference in Jacksonville and throughout Florida.
